Little Nook Homestead - Our Family, Our Passion, Our Promise

Welcome to Little Nook Homestead - A small spot for big dreams and slow living.

Let’s get you settled

I’m new here! What exactly do you do at Little Nook?
We’re a family rediscovering the magic of the backyard. We believe that the best things in life are grown, not manufactured. From the seeds we save to the honey we harvest, everything here is a celebration of doing things by hand.

How can I start my own garden if I've never grown anything before?
We start exactly where you are. You don’t need a massive homestead to be a grower. We provide the "starter sparks"—hardy heirloom seeds and simple kits—that turn a windowsill or a small patch of grass into a productive little nook of your own.

Why should I join the Little Nook community?
Because the world moves fast, but gardens grow slow. Joining us isn't just about buying a jar of jam; it’s about reclaiming a bit of peace. When you shop with us, you’re supporting sustainable soil, happy bees, and a local family.

Our Story - A chat across the fence

So, what is Little Nook Homestead all about?
It started with a single tomato and a desire for change. We wanted our children to know that food comes from the earth, not a plastic wrapper. What began as a hobby turned into a mission to protect heirloom varieties and share the abundance of our hives and garden beds with our neighbors.

How do you manage to grow everything so naturally?
We let nature take the lead. We don't use "magic" chemicals; we use compost, sunshine, and a lot of ladybugs. If we wouldn't feed it to our own kids or put it on our own skin, we don't offer it to yours.

Why do you sell your homestead goods online?
To keep the dream growing! Every purchase—from a packet of seeds to a pair of handcrafted earrings—goes directly back into the homestead. It helps us buy organic feed for our heritage hens and keep this little slice of heaven thriving.

The harvest - From our hands to yours, carefully curated goods that help you live a little slower.

In the garden

What do I need to start my own homestead?
The honest essentials. We offer heirloom seeds that have stood the test of time, alongside the rugged tools we use to turn our own soil.

From the Hive & Coop

What makes your honey and eggs so special?
It is all about the lifestyle of our animals. Our honey is 100% raw and unfiltered, while our eggs come from hens that spend their days foraging in the fresh air.

In the Pantry

What’s the secret behind your preserves?
Time and patience. We turn our seasonal harvests into small-batch jams and pickles using traditional recipes. No artificial thickeners—just fruit, sugar, and sunshine.

Bath & Skincare

What goes into your bath and body range?
Ingredients you can actually pronounce. We blend our skincare using the golden wax from our own hives and botanical extracts from our garden. Our soaps and balms are free from harsh chemicals and kind to sensitive skin.

Why switch to homestead-made skincare?
Because your skin is your largest organ. We believe what you put on your body is just as important as what you put in it. Our products are designed to nourish and protect, especially after a long day working in the sun.

Handcrafted Treasures

What kind of jewelry can I find at a homestead?
Wearable art inspired by the earth. We handcraft jewelry using stones and designs that echo the colors of the garden. Each piece is unique and made in the quiet moments between homestead chores.

Why include jewelry on a homestead website?
Because we believe in celebrating beauty everywhere. These treasures are a lovely way to carry a little reminder of the garden's magic with you, wherever your day takes you.

The community - Let's stay in touch

So, how can I get a message to the homestead?
Drop us a line! We check our messages once the chickens are tucked in for the night. Whether it’s a question about a plant or just to say hello, we love building a real community.

You can also message us on WhatsApp and Facebook.

What will I see if I follow your journey on socials?
The unpolished, beautiful reality of homestead life. Follow us on Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and Instagram for a daily dose of "slow living" inspiration and behind-the-scenes peeks at our latest harvests.

Why build a community online?
Because no homestead is an island. Following along means you’re part of the family, helping us grow this little nook into something special.
